Who is Ontario Loud?
Chris Martin: Chris is the host of Ontario Loud and and a former Senior Policy Advisor to two Education Ministers covering some totally fun and non-controversial flies like school closures and student transportation. Chris loves adventure, good food and fancies himself a sommelier.
Kate Hammer: Kate is a former Globe & Mail journalist and political staffer who served as a key policy advisor to Premier Kathleen Wynne. A recent resident of British Columbia, Kate is discovering the joys of the west coast while we all languish under Doug Ford back in Central Canada. Kate has a wonderful family with two kids, and a magical dog named Winnie who is just the best.
Sam Andrey: Sam served as a key advisor to Ontario’s Minister of Education from 2014 to 2018, including as Director of Policy and Chief of Staff. At Education, he helped Ontario’s Liberal government raise graduation rates to historic highs and other “failed ideological experiments.” Sam lives and works in Toronto with his partner and dogs Maya and Kona.
Alvin Tedjo: Alvin is a leader in the Oakville community and ran as the Liberal candidate for MPP of Oakville North–Burlington in the 2018 election. He is a passionate advocate for more affordable child care options and Apple products, and he previously advised the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities. Alvin and his better half Rebecca have three adorable young kids all in Ontario public schools and drive around in a sweet hybrid minivan.
Alexi White: Alexi is a passionate advocate for those with less, but this good trait is balanced by thinking Star Trek is way better than Star Wars. He likes classical music, is an only child, and is married to Audra. Alexi was educated at Harvard and Queen’s universities, and has advised the Ministers of Community and Social Services, Education, and the President of the Treasury Board.
